Sandrene is a Jane of most trades. At least when it comes to artistic trades. She began her creative career at the age of 7, where she starred as Dorothy in a children's production of The Wizard of Oz at her church. It was not long after this that she became involved in other methods of performance, including working as a choral member and vocal soloist and cornet (later flugel) player in various bands. Her on stage work continued up until the end of her high school years, when she decided to try her hand at the other side of performing arts: directing.
It was during film school that Sandrene developed a love for photography. She began her career as a concert photographer, an art she continues to enjoy, and has worked with artists such as Copeland, Newsboys, Relient K and Saves the Day. After some time, Sandrene expanded her focus to include still life, wedding, portrait and fashion photography and photojournalism.
Music has always played an important role in Sandrene's life. Her experience as a performer, background in directing and work as a band photographer led her to the next logical arena of concert production. Sandrene has worked on numerous stages as stage crew, sound engineer and stage manager for Thursday, Bright Eyes, Third Day, Brand New, the Roots and countless others.
Following a temporary health setback, Sandrene was forced to take a bit of a break from the artist's lifestyle and settle down. Not wanting to lose her creative edge, she switched from working with artists to working with computers. Proficient in computer networking, repair, programming and web design, Sandrene is continually learning and exploring new fields of this ever changing world of technology.
